It looks so fluffy, and intriguing!
how do you make these, anyway? I have been meaning to ask, but I am just now getting around to it.

I just make wire skeleton and build on top of it the polymer clay [super sculpey] for head and feet then I bake it and wrap wadding around wire for softness and then I sew fur on top of it! xD
There is hundreds of tutorials on DA. The easiest way to find one is to write in search ''armature doll tutorial'' and then there will be hundreds of them. Taking you through making models step by step that's how I made my first one! ^v^ :heart:

Armature dolls are for adult collectors.

I hope you choose the "normal" chesire cat ... not the videogame Return to Madness Chesire cat. there he is a creepy smiling thing cat. you can pretty much see his ribcage though his skin. xD

Yeah, the fur you just buy. Unless you are one of the artists who spray paint/dye fur then it might be hard.
Not gonna do that cos it makes too much mess! ;0;

Yeah same here. I have one sculpture [twice bigger than those I did so far] laying on the side, all baked and covered in wadding so almost finished but not really cos I have no faux fur for it Q_Q;;
I got myself tiny patch for this one but it will take it a couple of days to arrive ;;n;; *WAITING ughh* xD

I haven't got faux fur yet because I haven't reached the stages of sculpting (and I can't decide what colour fur I want). I ordered some glass eyes for my doll but they're a couple days late ;_;

I got myself glass eyes but then I realized that they are TOO BIG for the tiny sculptures I am making ;0; *silly me*
I got myself few little squares of furs the first time I ordered so I could mix and match >w<
There is very good seller on ebay I buy from I can note you! xD

Ooh that would be very kind of you!
Yeah I hope the the eyes are the right size, I do believe I ordered either 8mm or 10mm.
my first doll is a tester (sort of) to see how well I can craft.

Okay, weird question time: How fragile are his ears? They don't look like they're attached to his head by much, and I'm sure no one would want his ears to fall off...
