Once he will get way nastier than he is right now?

A lot of people asked me lately ''WHY ON THE LAST COMIC PAGES JOHN DOESN'T HAVE HIS HORNS''
So I want to make it clear:
He still has them, he just made them TEMPORARILY invisible...so the girl they met won't see them and run back to the village to bring angry mob which would burn John and Leartes on the pile of wood.
He has wings as well but he never shows them even around Leartes. Thought it's mostly cos he wants to visually appear similar looking to him, less monster-like and more human-like so it's easier for Leartes to feel comfortable around him and trust him and for John to put down Leartes's vigilance and wrap him around his finger. Haha John, you ass, what are you even planningggg....

I highly believe though, that someday, once he will grown up, John will get strong enough that he won't need, to protect himself, ''dress'' up himself nicely into ''horn-less'' and ''wing-less'' ''wannapretendtobehuman'' and will start parading around in his real form. After all, who would dare to tell him not to....unless someone wishes to have guts inside out.
